This lake is so wonderful. One of the dominant highlights of the surroundings of Moccasin Lake is Eagle Cap, and going for a hike on the Kettle Creek Trail is always a splendid adventure. This lake is so wonderful. Do set aside some time for Lake Basin if you're here at Moccasin Lake, and the peaks of the Wallowa Mountains dominate the scenery of this neighborhood. Lakes are good; Sunshine Lake is a lake that's right next       door to Moccasin Lake; you can go for a hike on the Main Creek Trail. Now, you may feel that's a heap but there's even more enjoyable things to do here in the Wallowa Mountains. Not far from Moccasin Lake, you'll come across Douglas Lake which is a scenic lake, and camping at Wallowa Lake State Park is always a pleasant experience. Moccasin Lake is pretty dehydrated mostly; December is when you get the most snow here while July is the month with the least amount                  of precipitation. And that's not all you can do here at Moccasin Lake. Baker City Super 8 Motel is a wonderful location to get some rest, and Moccasin Lake is splendid enough to spend more than a day at, Scenic Meadows RV Park is a splendid local campground. Moccasin Lake is one of the lakes here in the Wallowa Mountains. Throughout the months of summer highs here at Moccasin Lake reach the 80's. Throughout the dark hours of summer temperatures sink down into the 40's. During the wintertime highs are regularly in the 30's, and night lows in the 10's for Moccasin Lake. And if that's not enough there's a load more enjoyable things to do in the Wallowa Mountains.
