This is a popular place for folks from Corvallis, and camping at Mitchell Reservoir is wonderful fun, Corvallis Mobile Home Park is a wonderful local campground. Summertime highs at Mitchell Reservoir typically tend to be in the 70's, and during the night it cools down to the 40's. High temperatures through the wintertime are normally in the 40's with winter lows in the 30's overnight here       at Mitchell Reservoir. So much fun stuff to do at Mitchell Reservoir, so little time. Fort Hoskins Spring is a pleasant local attraction, and after a long day outdoors Harrison House B&B is a great place to spend a night or two. This lake is so wonderful. Marys River is a brilliant whitewater spot in the neighborhood of Mitchell Reservoir, and unsurprisingly, this is a good region for people who like lakes, Bonner Lake is a lake in the vicinity. The high                  level of precipitation makes Mitchell Reservoir a reasonably wet place; during the month of December you get the most rain around here, and the driest of the months is July. Getting to Bonner Creek from Mitchell Reservoir is simple, and if you don't mind getting covered with water, you can always go whitewater paddling on Mill Creek. So much enjoyable stuff in the Coast Ranges, just impressive. Bonner Mountain is a peak you can see from Mitchell Reservoir, and if you came for an overnight stay Fir Ridge Camp Grounds is a great site to camp. And that's not everything you can do here in the Coast Ranges. Dry warm beds await you at Days Inn Corvallis.
