Days Inn Corvallis is a brilliant spot to get some rest, and paddling on Mill Creek is so much fun. That right there is a load of exciting things already but it goes on, the Coast Ranges has it all. A tremendous nearby hotel is Harrison House Bed and Breakfast. There's so much to do here at Mitchell Reservoir that you need to camp here for a while, Fir Ridge Camp Grounds is a perfect site for       that. Do have a look at Lake of the Winds close to Mitchell Reservoir, it's a wonderful lake, and the beauty of mother nature reveals herself at Fort Hoskins Spring. Mitchell Reservoir is one of the lakes here in the Coast Ranges. A stunning lake like Bonner Lake in close proximity to Mitchell Reservoir is a good location to go to, and why not take a little journey to Bonner Creek while you're here. This lake is so wonderful. Summertime highs at Mitchell Reservoir usually tend to be in the 70's, and throughout summer nights temperatures are in the 40's. Daytime highs throughout the wintertime are in the 40's with temperatures at Mitchell Reservoir dipping down into the 30's through winter nights. This lake is so wonderful. Mitchell Reservoir is a wet place that gets a large amount of rainfall; during the month of December you get the most rain around here; the driest month is July. Be careful coming to the Coast Ranges, you might not ever wanna go back home again.
