The sight of Overturf Butte from Mirror Pond is wonderful, and whitewater paddling is perfect on Deschutes River. This lake is so wonderful. The Swampy Lakes Trail offers hiking at its best, and Mirror Pond is
a great place to visit for more than one day, Simax - Deschutes National Forest is a great place to camp nearby.
