Upper Lake is a nearby lake that you could stop by, and if you need a place to stay Super 8 Baker City is a great choice. But wait, there's more amusing stuff to do in the Wallowa Mountains. Mirror Lake is right by the Main Creek Trail; at Mirror Lake you can catch a glimpse of Eagle Cap. Mirror Lake gets very little precipitation; December is the month that gets the most snow; July is the month with the least moisture. For the       duration of the summer months here at Mirror Lake, high temperatures mostly reach the 80's. Once the sun is down it drops down to the 40's. High temperatures through the wintertime are normally in the 30's, and after the sun is down through the wintertime temperatures at Mirror Lake plunge into the 10's. This lake is one of the great places here in the Wallowa Mountains. While you're here at Mirror Lake, you could also take a look at scenic Sunshine Lake.                  Not enough hours in a day to enjoy the Wallowa Mountains. Mirror Lake is a nice place to visit for more than one day, Scenic Meadows RV Park is a nice place to camp nearby, and places like Lake Basin are perfect to stop by. What a place this is for outdoors folks. Why not take a refreshing hike along the Kettle Creek Trail, and Benson Glacier is a great spot to explore while in the region. This lake is so wonderful. Dry warm beds await you at Best Western Rama Inn & Suites, and do take a hike on the Copper Creek Trail. There's some flowing water close by, Knight Creek is a stream you can visit while here, and Frazier Pass is definitely a glorious place to have a look at.
