Why not stop by Mirror Lake if you're passing through these parts. This lake is located in the wonderful Central Cascade Range. This lake is so wonderful. Mt. Hood Ski Bowl is a very popular ski area in the vicinity, and Tom Dick and Harry Mountain is clearly visible from Mirror Lake. You could also stop at Enid Lake while you're here at Mirror Lake; it's close by, and there are splendid places to explore along the Wind Creek Trail.

| | Going for a hike on the Mirror Lake Trail is always a fine adventure, and the best way to spend a winter day is on the slopes of close by Timberline Lodge. Man, is there a lot of fun stuff to do in the Central Cascade Range. Whitewater paddling is not for everybody but if it's for you then we recommend Zigzag River, and camping is available at Barlow Campground. first paying a visit to Yocum Falls, and if you come at the right time of year, Sandy River offers some tremendous whitewater.
At Mirror Lake throughout the summer months highs are in the 70's. Summer overnight lows sink down
to the 50's. During the wintertime the highs are typically in the 40's; overnight lows in the 30's for Mirror Lake. If you need a place to stay Falcon's Crest Inn on Mt. Hood is a wonderful choice, and if you came for an overnight
stay Twin Bridges Campground is a good place to camp. You simply have to have a thing about Mirror Lake. There are plenty of people from Hood River here at Mirror Lake.
Little Zigzag Canyon is a good location to spend some time
at, and Wind Creek Basin is a beautiful spot any time of year. Mirror Lake is a reasonably wet place commonly with a good deal of rain; all through December this area sees the most rain, and July meanwhile is the driest month. So
many fun things to do here in the Central Cascade Range, too tremendous to be true. Go for a hike on the Tom Dick Trail, and a pleasant nearby hotel is Falcon's Crest Inn On Mt. Hood.
