Bighorn Campground
Have you been to the Bighorn campground site???While this is a beautiful pack-in, primitive site, it doesn't fit with your description. Before camping, take a hike on Nat. ...ps for kids and adults of all ages and abilities. With low coach to camper ratios, Windells is a stepping stone to the next level... Your first turn/push or that trick that puts you on the podium.

Our main campus is the only private facility at any snowboard/skateboard/ski camp in the world. What does this mean? Similar camps are located in cities like Government Camp and Whistler where you can't tell the difference between campers and the general public. Our camp is for our camper, staff and invited guests only.

Adults who attend Windells Camp on Mt. Hood have the time their lives. We provide you with a camp host to facilitate the fun for the kid or teen in you, while offering the relaxation, the nightlife and social scene adults enjoy. Little Ashes Lake
19 miles away
Since the previous post was negative, I was skeptical about fishing there. I sent a couple of hours fishing there at one of the few access spots to see how it fished. I was fortunate enough to land a trout about 27 inches long. Not to bad for a couple hours. Caught using a rooster tail spinner. Gotta give it a try....Little Ashes lake is a medium sized spillway from the Columbia River. There is not much public access to the lake. The lake is boundaried on the southwest side by Highway 14. and all the rest is Private property. No way to launch a boat, but I have float tubed it. There are no trails to hike around this lake. You won't want to swim in it since it is columbia river water. The fishing is unproductive as i fished it and never caught a single bass or trout, only sucker fish and perch. My advice is to just enjoy the sight of this lake, but venturing into it is a waste of time....
