In Oregon there are many beautiful lakes, Mint Lake is one of them. Mint Lake is located in the Central Cascade Range. There's some flowing water nearby, Martin Creek is a stream you can explore while here, and during your spree here you'll meet some people from Portland-Vancouver-Beaverton for sure. The warmest time of the year brings highs in the 80's to Mint Lake, and the nighttime is slightly colder of course, regularly in the 50's. Daytime highs through the
wintertime are in the 40's, and overnight lows during the wintertime for Mint Lake tend to be in the 30's.
This lake is so wonderful. There is a tremendous hiking trail in the neighborhood of Mint Lake called the Pine Crest Trail, and if you come at the right time of year, Molalla River offers some great whitewater. This lake is so wonderful. Glide down the rapids of Clackamas River in a kayak. Milo Mciver State Park is a great local campground, and Briscoe

Reservoir is a good lake close by.
So much fun stuff to do in the Central Cascade Range, not sufficient time. Dry warm beds await you at Clackamas Inn & Suites, and if you came for an overnight stay Clackamette RV Park is a good location to camp. Whohoo, so many entertaining things in one place! Mint Lake is great! If you need a location to stay Hampton Inn Portland/Clackamas is a delightful choice, and Mompano Dam is a lovely place, definitely worth checking out. There's no way anyone can get bored here in the Central Cascade Range. Enjoy a round of golf at Oregon City Golf Club at Lone Oak not far from Mint Lake, and there are other sites here than Mint Lake, for example Cedar Creek Reservoir.
Mint Lake gets a common amount of rain; the month of December is the wettest with most of the rain; the driest of the months is July.

We are on both the Sandy River and Beavercreek with full 58inch hookups, 30/50 amps, all concrete....We stayed at the Sandy River RV Park in July with our 3 grandchildren. We found the park to be clean, quiet, friendly,? very well located, and we would definately return! Although there is no pool, or playground equipment, there is a beautiful river for swimming and wading, hiking trails to explore and nature everywhere. A real hidden gem in the Portland area. We had easy access to everything. Thank you!...

Pine Crest Trail
15 miles away
...
The Pine Crest Trail can no longer be reached. A friend and I tried to go there last weekend and we were disappointed to find that S. Mollala Forest Rd narrows and now effectively ends. Actually, it continues, but the road is impeded by a gate sporting many 'no trespassing' signs and marking it 'private property'. When we got to this point, we were just about to turn around and go home when another car drove past us onto the road. Having driven for several hours to get there, we dared to venture further, and followed the car despite the many warnings on the gate. Now, if you are reading this please heed my advice... never do what we did. Do not try to find this trail. Listen to signs. They are usually there for a reason. We could not locate the next road to turn on because all the old street signs had been removed and all of the old turn-offs warned away the unauthorized with huge boulders blocking the road, locked gates and more no-trespassing signs. After taking some pictures of beautifully dilapidated country houses, we decided to call it a day and return home empty handed. Ho...
