The Central Cascade Range scenery is always beautiful. These mountains rock, just check out all the cool things to do in the Central Cascade Range. Visiting Crater Lake National Park is just something you need to do if you haven't yet, and there are wonderful places to discover along the Thielsen Creek Trail. You truly should like the Central Cascade Range. A lake nearby is Maidu Lake. The best way to spend a winter day is       on the slopes of close by Willamette Pass, and going for a hike on the Pacific Crest Trail - section 20 is always a great adventure. This lake is so wonderful. Some of the water nearby flows, like Evening Creek; there is a nice hiking trail nearby called the Maidu Lake Way. Just can't get enough of Miller Lake. If the weather is pretty, you get a good vista of Miller Mountain from Miller Lake, and you can stay the night at Lake Lucile Campground. You could                  also have a look at Lake Lucile while you're here at Miller Lake; it's close by. You'll need more than a day to explore everything Miller Lake has to offer, you can camp at Willow Campground. Summer at Miller Lake arrives with high temperatures in the 80's, and through the night it cools down to the 40's. The winter comes with highs in the 40's, and after the sun is down all through the wintertime temperatures at Miller Lake plunge into the 20's.
