Yeah, come up here to the Blue Mountains for a glorious time. The beauty of mother nature reveals herself at Board Tree Spring, and as expected Miles Creek flows through this area. Miles Reservoir is a wonderful spot to visit for more than one day, Little Summit Campground is a wonderful spot to camp nearby, and John Day Fossil Beds National Monument is a glorious national park. At Miles Reservoir you don’t see much       rainfall; the month of May is the wettest with most of the rain while July is frequently the driest month. You just can't picture the amount of outdoors exciting stuff the area in close proximity to Miles Reservoir has to offer. Going for a hike on the Black Canyon Trail is always a glorious adventure, and close by you stumble on the Coffeepot Trail which is a great hiking trail. Be careful coming to the Blue Mountains, you might not ever want to return home                  again. The Owl Creek Trail is a good hiking trail near Miles Reservoir, and Antelope Reservoir is a splendid lake nearby. This lake is so wonderful. Stay the night at Twin Springs Campground, and lakes are such calm locations, why not explore Porcupine Reservoir. High temperatures at Miles Reservoir throughout the warm months are in the 80's with overnight lows in the 50's. All through the winter this place gets highs in the 40's with temperatures at Miles Reservoir dipping down into the 20's all through winter nights.
