Why not take a refreshing hike along the Elkhorn Crest Trail, and if you like skiing, you're in luck; Anthony Lakes is rather near. Why not visit nearby Lake Creek while you're here at Miles Pond; do take a hike on the Twin Lakes Trail. Stay the night at Mountain View Holiday Travel, and Western Motel is a fine spot to get some rest. High temperatures at Miles Pond through the long summer days are in the       80's. When the night sets in temperatures plunge down into the 40's. Daytime highs through the winter are in the 30's while the cold winter nights at Miles Pond are in the 10's. That right there is heaps already, but it carries on; Miles Pond has it all. Buffalo Gulch is a great location to spend some time at; hiking along the Rock Creek Lake Trail is magnificent fun. This lake is so wonderful. Baker RV Park is a brilliant campground here, and if you need a                  site to stay Trail Motel is a good choice.
