What a place this is for outdoors people. Enjoy a lazy day on the beach at Kiwanda Beach. Lakes are good; Town Lake is a lake that's in close proximity to Miles Lake. After a long day outdoors Bel-Aire Inn and Suites is a glorious spot to spend a night or two, and camping is available at Cape Kiwanda RV Park. All the outdoors enjoyable stuff in the Coast Ranges will keep you coming back over and over. Whitewater paddling is great       on Nestucca River; get drenched paddling on Kilchis River - North Fork. Summertime brings highs in the 70's to Miles Lake. Throughout the moonlight hours it's mostly in the 50's. The cold days of the wintertime come with highs in the 40's while Miles Lake night low temperatures through the winter are in the 30's. Not enough hours in a day to enjoy the Coast Ranges. The vista of Miles Mountain from Miles Lake is pretty; if you're here, do take a journey                  to Cape Kiwanda. This lake is so wonderful. Miles Lake gets a lot of water; most of the rain falls throughout December; the driest of the months is July. Why not camp at Pacific City Trailer Park since you're here at Miles Lake; you're in all probability hooked on lakes, Sears Lake is one of those close by. This lake is so wonderful. Dry warm beds await you at Surftides Lincoln City; if you're here, you could pop by Beltz Creek.
