Middle Lake is located in the Central Cascade Range. The high level of rain makes Middle Lake a reasonably wet site; the month with most of the rain is December, and July is when it's the driest. And if that's not enough there's a lot more enjoyable stuff to do in the Central Cascade Range. If you like swamps, you're in luck, Cornpatch Meadow is right close by; why not camp at Trout Lake Campground since you're here at Middle Lake. Lakes? Sure, Gifford

| | Lakes is in the neighborhood, and why not head up to Hoodoo and strap some skis to your feet. If the weather is brilliant here at Middle Lake, you can go for a hike along the Wolf Spring Trail, and a good spot to camp here at Middle Lake is Lemiti Campground. So many fun things close to Middle Lake, simply phenomenal. Have a good hiking adventure along the Cub Creek Trail, and you obtain a glorious vista of Double Peaks from here. the Central Cascade Range. Paddling on Collawash River is so much fun, and Fish Lake is a delightful lake close by. This lake is so wonderful. This lake is so wonderful. Going for a hike along the Fish Lake Trail will let you absorb
the natural beauty of this area, and whitewater paddling is glorious on Marion Creek. The warmest time of the year brings highs in the 70's to Middle Lake. When the night sets in temperatures dip down into the 50's. Highs during the winter are usually in the 40's; nighttime lows in the 30's for Middle Lake.

 | Roundtrip Distance 13.7 miles Elevation Gain 2,348 ft. This peak is trailless, meaning a portion or all of the route up the mountain is via an unmarked trail. For this particular mountain, the typical route is known as a ''herd path'' which is not much more than a worn, but unmarked trail. Some of the herd paths are easy to follow, others are not.
