    Many people like to go to Meyer Memorial Lake. This lake is one of the great places here in the Siskiyou Mountains. This lake is so wonderful. You could also stop at Crowson Reservoir if you're here at Meyer Memorial Lake; it's close by, and the Copper Trail is a tremendous hiking trail close by. On a gorgeous day you acquire a vista of Ropers Bunion from Meyer Memorial Lake, and if you came for an overnight stay Regency Inn and RV is a great place to camp.
 
   So much fun stuff to do at Meyer Memorial Lake, so little time. Everybody nearby loves skiing at Mt. Ashland. Life's too short to enjoy all the fun stuff in the Siskiyou Mountains. Jackson wellsprings is a splendid local campground, and you'll most likely meet some folks from Medford here. So much entertaining stuff in the Siskiyou Mountains, just incredible. On a delightful day at Meyer Memorial Lake you can take a hike along the Mount Ashland Trail, and if  
               you want to play some golf, you're in luck because Oak Knoll Golf Club is in the vicinity.
Meyer Memorial Lake is not the only site close by, Black Swan Lake is a close by lake, and in the event that you don’t have a problem getting dripping wet, you can always go whitewater paddling on Klamath River. This lake is so wonderful. If you crave a little side tour, try Jemmison Gulch, and why not a little side trip to Ashland Creek. The beauty of mother nature reveals herself at Danns Spring, and dry warm beds await you at Plaza Inn & Suites @ Ashland Creek.
Meyer Memorial Lake is a location that is pretty dry usually; December is when you get the most rain here while July is the month with the least amount of precipitation. Summertime at Meyer Memorial Lake arrives with high temperatures in the 90's, and the nighttime is slightly colder of course, frequently in the 50's. For the duration of the wintertime highs are typically in the 40's, and after the sun is down during the winter temperatures at Meyer Memorial Lake sink into the 30's. Just can't get enough of Meyer Memorial Lake. Near Meyer Memorial Lake you discover the Bear Creek Trail which is a wonderful hiking trail, and Ashland Springs Hotel is a good site to get some rest.

If you can ski Mt. Ashland, you can ski anywhere, is a boast locals in southern Oregon have made for 45 years. It is true; Mt. Ashland offers plenty of adventure for both skiers and riders. The ski area is located about a half an hour drive from the charming town of Ashland, home to the world renowned Oregon Shakespeare Festival. At 7,500 feet, Mt. Ashland is the highest point in the Siskiyou mountain range. Its north facing slopes collect an average 300 inches of snowfall annually. The ski area offers 23 trails in addition to chute skiing and boarding in its famous bowl. All trails are easily accessed by 4 chairlifts. Twilight skiing on 10 runs is scheduled Thursday through Friday evenings beginning in late-December. The mountain prides itself on a warm and friendly atmosphere.
