Really pleasant skiing awaits you at Willamette Pass, and why not camp at Oakridge RV Park if you're here at Memaloose Lake. You just can't envision the amount of outdoors entertaining stuff the Central       Cascade Range has to offer. Hiking is a popular thing to do around Memaloose Lake; Dead Mountain Trail is a good local trail. This lake is so wonderful. Here at Memaloose Lake you can catch a glimpse of Huckleberry Mountain, and Memaloose Lake is right by the Squaw Butte Trail. Whitewater paddling is great on Christy Creek, and if you came for an overnight stay Oakridge Mobile Home Park is a wonderful place to camp. Memaloose Lake is a wet site that gets much rainfall; of all the months in a year November is the one with the most rain, and the driest month of the year is July. This lake is one of the great places here in the Central Cascade Range. Through the warm days of summer here at Memaloose Lake, high temperatures frequently get into the 80's, and during the night it cools down to the 50's.
