You just can't imagine the amount of outdoors fun stuff the area in close proximity to Memaloose Lake has to offer. Don't leave Memaloose Lake without first going for a hike along the High Camp Trail, and dry warm beds await you at Resort at the Mountain. High temperatures at Memaloose Lake during the warmest time of the year are in the 70's with overnight lows in the 50's. just check out all the cool things to do in the Central Cascade Range. There's good hiking along the East Mountain Trail, and why not camp at Silver Fox RV Park since you're here at Memaloose Lake. This lake is one of the great
places here in the Central Cascade Range. Nearby lakes? Sure, Cougar Lake is near Memaloose Lake; whitewater paddling is not for everybody but if it's for you then, we recommend Clackamas River - South Fork. This lake is so wonderful.
After a long day outdoors Best Western Sandy Inn is a glorious place to spend a night or two, and the summit of South Fork Mountain can be seen from Memaloose Lake. Memaloose Lake is a relatively wet place commonly with a great
deal of precipitation; the month of December is the wettest with most of the rain, and July on the other hand is the driest.
