Horseshoe Lake is a lake around here, and after a long day outdoors Best Western Newberg Inn is a good site to spend a night or two. This lake is so wonderful. If you're here, you might as well go to Brentano Bar, and camping is available at Shelburne Farms Camp. All through the summer at Meadowbrook Lake highs are typically in the 80's. Once the sun is down it sinks down to the 40's. Daytime highs all through       the winter are in the 40's with winter lows in the 30's overnight here at Meadowbrook Lake. While you're here at Meadowbrook Lake you will meet lots of folks from close by Salem. Whohoo, so much amusing stuff in one place! Meadowbrook Lake is great! Beaches are good; and San Salvador Beach near Meadowbrook Lake is no exception, and camping at Portland-Dayton RV Park is always a delightful experience. Carey Bend is an interesting place to explore while at Meadowbrook                  Lake, and some nearby water includes Lambert Slough. The high level of precipitation makes Meadowbrook Lake a pretty wet place; the wettest month of the year is ordinarily December, that's the one that rains the most, and July is when it's the driest.
