This lake is one of the great places here in the Coast Ranges. Summer brings highs in the 80's to McMinnville Reservoirs while overnight lows are mostly in the 40's. The cold days of the winter come with highs in the 40's, and during the dark hours in the winter at McMinnville Reservoirs temperatures plunge to the 30's. Not enough hours in a day to enjoy the Coast Ranges. Gidding Reservoir is a glorious       lake next to McMinnville Reservoirs. Whitewater paddling is fine on Yamhill River - South, and you can stay the night at Flamingo Mobile and RV Park. This lake is so wonderful. If you're a golfer then a good nearby course is Bayou Golf Club, and Best Western The Vineyard Inn Motel is a good site to get some rest. Lakes? Sure, Peavey Reservoir is close at hand; if you don’t have a problem getting wet, you can always go whitewater paddling on Mill Creek.                  McMinnville Reservoirs is a wet spot that gets a large amount of rain; of all the months in a year December is the one with the most rain, and the driest month of the year is July. This site is so good, just explore all the amusing stuff to do in the vicinity of McMinnville Reservoirs. If you need a location to stay Paragon Motel is a splendid choice; let's not forget Berry Creek which is a stream that you may bump into while here.
