Any time is a pleasant time at McKenzie Canyon Reservoir if you like the outdoors. McKenzie Canyon Dam is beautiful and it's in the vicinity of McKenzie Canyon Reservoir, and Deschutes River has a good whitewater paddling spot close by. so much to do here at McKenzie Canyon Reservoir that you need to camp here for a while, Sisters/Bend KOA is a great location for that; after a long day outdoors Best Western Ponderosa Lodge is a great spot to spend a night or two.
McKenzie Canyon Reservoir is a beautiful lake in the Central Cascade Range. This lake is so wonderful. Why not take a refreshing hike along the Three Creek Lake Trail. You could also pop by Squaw Creek Irrigation District Reservoir
if you're here at McKenzie Canyon Reservoir; it's close by, and Five Pine Lodge is a great location to get some rest. This site, the Central Cascade Range, has so much outdoors cool things. The Reservation Trail offers hiking at its

Crooked River Ranch RV Park
 | 17 miles away We chose this location because of my interest in the Crooked River gorge, and because it was within 1-day driving distance of John Day Fossil Beds. The park itself is quite nice...although there were parties on both sides of us, we did not feel crowded. The adjacent golf course pool is open to RV campers. It's a long walk, but a convenient short drive. There's a viewing platform overlooking the gorge, which was a plus for me. Rates were quite reasonable for the type of facility.... |
