McKenzie Canyon Reservoir is a great lake in an area with lots of outdoors fun all around. So much exciting stuff in the Central Cascade Range, just phenomenal. Hiking along the Swampy Lakes Trail is nice fun. If you need a site to stay Best Western Ponderosa Lodge is a glorious choice; if you want to play some golf, you're in luck because Aspen Lakes Golf Course is in close proximity.
