Do stop by McGill Reservoir while you're in this part of Oregon. The high level of rainfall makes McGill Reservoir a relatively wet site; the month of December is the wettest with most of the rain, and July meanwhile is the driest month. This lake is so wonderful. You're sure to bump into some smiling people from Portland-Vancouver-Beaverton here. This site, the Central Cascade Range, has so much outdoors cool stuff. time of year, Washougal River offers some perfect whitewater, and you can always enjoy a lazy day on the beach at Sundial Beach.
McGill Reservoir is located in the Central Cascade Range. This lake is so wonderful. There's so much
to do here at McGill Reservoir that you need to camp here for a while, Portland Fairview RV Park is a brilliant site for that; a glorious place to stop at nearby is Powell Valley. If you're here at McGill Reservoir and you like golf,
you can go to Persimmon Country Club Persimmon; a perfect nearby hotel is Best Western Rama Inn & Suites.
Summertime highs at McGill Reservoir frequently tend to be in the 80's. During the dark hours of summer temperatures sink
down into the 50's. Daytime highs through the wintertime are in the 40's, and winter nights come with lows in the 30's to McGill Reservoir.
