Beautiful McCrae Reservoir has much to offer visitors. So much enjoyable stuff to do in the Coast Ranges, not sufficient time. Best Western Dallas Inn & Suites is a good spot to get some rest, and if you get bored of McCrae Reservoir you could also stop by close by Alsip Reservoir. Be careful coming to McCrae Reservoir, you might not ever want to go back home again. Lots of folks from Corvallis come to McCrae Reservoir. Camping is available at Driftwood - Siuslaw

| | National Forest, and if you come at the right time of year, Mill Creek offers some wonderful whitewater.
McCrae Reservoir sees pretty high levels of precipitation; most of the rain falls through December while July is ordinarily the driest month. The Coast Ranges scenery is always beautiful. Mobile Park is always a glorious experience. This lake is so wonderful. Here at McCrae Reservoir you can see Fishback Hill, and after a long day outdoors Holiday Inn Express Corvallis-On The River, Or is a good spot to spend a night or two.
