    McClure Lake is a great lake in an area with lots of outdoors fun all around. You simply ought to explore Rowena Crest since you're here at McClure Lake, and McClure Lake is right next door to Rowena Dell which is positively worth visiting. This lake is so wonderful. On a pretty day you obtain a panorama of Chatfield Hill from McClure Lake, and as expected Rowena Creek flows through this area. McClure Lake is located in the Northern Cascade Range.
But wait,
 
   there's more entertaining stuff to do in the Northern Cascade Range. Hiking along the Cedar Creek Trail is perfect fun, and a short visit to Middleswart Spring is always worthwhile. McClure Lake gets a typical amount of yearly precipitation; December is the month that gets the most rain, and July on the other hand is the driest. If only every site had this much outdoors fun stuff, what a great planet it would be. After a long day outdoors Cousins Country Inn is a tremendous  
               site to spend a night or two; do set aside some time for Rocky Flat while you're here at McClure Lake.
And if that's not enough, there's heaps more to do in close proximity to McClure Lake. If you came to camp Columbia River Gorge Camping is a great place to do that, needless to say you could also have a look at Hewett Lake while you're here; it's not far at all. People from Hood River love to come to McClure Lake, and if you come at the right time of year, Klickitat River offers some splendid whitewater. This lake is so wonderful. McClure Lake is right by the Bottle Prairie Trail; whitewater paddling is not for everybody but if it's for you then, we recommend Rattlesnake Creek.
Having a nice time in the Northern Cascade Range is easy. Why not take a refreshing hike along the Fifteenmile Creek Trail, and a lake close by is Balch Lake. Not enough hours in a day to enjoy the Northern Cascade Range. There's so much to do here at McClure Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Memaloose State Park is a delightful location for that, and dry warm beds await you at The Dalles Super 8 Motel.
Summer at McClure Lake arrives with high temperatures in the 80's. When the night sets in temperatures dip down into the 50's. Throughout the winter this place gets highs in the 40's with temperatures at McClure Lake dipping down into the 20's during winter nights.
