Go to McCaffery Pond if you want to go to a nice lake. This lake is so wonderful. This lake is so wonderful. From McCaffery Pond you get a brilliant sight of Ace Williams Mountain; going for a hike on the Straight Creek Trail is always a wonderful adventure. Now, you may think that's a load but there's even more fun things to do here in the Central Cascade Range. A delightful lake like Sampson Lake near McCaffery Pond is a brilliant place to stop at, and why not

Go for a hike on the Rock Creek Trail, and there's whitewater on Rock Creek for all you adrenaline rush seekers. Summertime at McCaffery Pond comes with high temperatures in the 70's.
