Many people like to go to Mayes Reservoir. The skiing at Mt. Ashland is great, and Young Hill is trouble-free to spot from Mayes Reservoir. This lake is so wonderful. If you're popping by Mayes Reservoir from Medford, you won't be the only one. You'll need more than a day to explore everything Mayes Reservoir has to offer, you can camp at Jackson County Parks and Rec. That right there is a lot already, but it carries on; Mayes Reservoir has it all. Going for

| | a hike on the Chicago Trail is always a delightful adventure, and soar down the rapids of Rogue River in a kayak.
This lake is so wonderful. Antelope Creek is a pretty stream that is worth taking a look at, and you can go for a hike on the Alco Trail. Don't leave Mayes Reservoir without first going for a hike along the Tison Trail, and get yourself into a kayak and hit Big Butte Creek. The Southern Cascade Range scenery is always beautiful.

like Eagle Point Golf Course. Life's too short to enjoy all the exciting things in the Southern Cascade Range. After a long day outdoors Courtyard by Marriott Medford Airport is a tremendous place to spend a night or two; Hoover Pond
Number One is a nearby lake that you could stop at.
For the period of the days of summer highs here at Mayes Reservoir reach the 80's. For the period of the moonlight hours it's commonly in the 40's. Highs during the wintertime
are mostly in the 40's, and overnight lows in the 20's for Mayes Reservoir. From a rain point of view Mayes Reservoir is a reasonably typical place; the month of December is the wettest with most of the rain while July is generally the driest month.
