Maxwell Pond is one of the lakes here in the Wallowa Mountains. If you want a perfect time in the great outdoors just come on up to the Wallowa Mountains. High temperatures at Maxwell Pond during the warm months are in the 80's, and during the night it cools down to the       40's. Daytime highs during the winter are in the 30's, and nighttime lows in the 20's for Maxwell Pond. Not much rain falls here at Maxwell Pond; of all the months in a year December is the one with the most snow, and July meanwhile is the driest month. Diamond Prairie is a perfect site to check out, and there's brilliant hiking along the Crooked Trail. Just can't get enough of Maxwell Pond. A perfect place to visit close to Maxwell Pond is Goebel Canyon; you                  can stay the night at Wallowa Valley Stay and wash. Yep, outdoors amusing stuff truly is plentiful here in the Wallowa Mountains. Goebel's is a magnificent campground nearby, and hey, Bear Creek is a good local stream. This lake is so wonderful. If you get bored of Maxwell Pond, you could also explore nearby Little Storm Lake. Lostine Reservoir is a nearby lake that you could explore, and while you're here you will meet lots of people from nearby La Grande. This lake is so wonderful.
