Summertime highs at Maxwell Pond commonly tend to be in the 80's. Summer night lows sink down to the 50's. For the period of the winter highs are in the 30's, and nighttime lows in the 20's for Maxwell Pond. This lake is so wonderful. Anthony Lakes has fine slopes and a friendly       staff; camping is available at Baker RV Park. Going for a hike along the Rock Creek Lake Trail will let you absorb the natural beauty of this vicinity, and if you get bored of Maxwell Pond you could also take a look at close by Haines Pond Number One. This lake is so wonderful. You'll meet a lot of folks from La Grande here. Hiking along the Twin Lakes Trail is nice fun, and dry warm beds await you at Rodeway Inn Baker City. Maxwell Pond is not the only place                  close by, Toney Reservoir is a close by lake; a short journey to Radium Hot Springs is always worthwhile. Any time is a wonderful time at Maxwell Pond if you love the outdoors. Take a hike on the Elkhorn Crest Trail, and why not camp at Mountain View Holiday Travel while you're here at Maxwell Pond.
