Christensen Slough is in the neighborhood of Maxwell Pond and is always a diversion to stop by, and after a long day outdoors Knights Inn Baker City is a brilliant spot to spend a night or two. Summertime highs at Maxwell Pond commonly tend to be in the 80's. Summer night lows sink down to the 50's. For the period of the winter highs are in the 30's, and nighttime lows in the 20's for Maxwell Pond. This lake is so wonderful. Anthony Lakes has fine slopes and a friendly

Going for a hike along the Rock Creek Lake Trail will let you absorb the natural beauty of this vicinity, and if you get bored of Maxwell Pond you could also take a look at close by Haines Pond Number One. This lake is so wonderful. You'll meet a lot of folks from La Grande here. Hiking along the Twin Lakes Trail is nice fun, and dry warm beds await you at Rodeway Inn Baker City. camp at Mountain View Holiday Travel while you're here at Maxwell Pond. Maxwell Pond is usually a rather dried out place; January is when you get the most snow here, and the driest month is July.

They had the best barbeque, the lift lines where short, and the powder was great.... ...ple chair that reaches 900 vertical feet. Anthony Lakes offers a full service rental shop, Nordic Center, Learning Center, snowmobile trail access, and trailer parking.
