Maxwell Lake is a lake worth visiting. There's great hiking along the Five Points Trail; Howard Johnson is a tremendous place to get some rest. Yep, outdoors cool things truly is bountiful here in the Blue Mountains. If you like skiing, you're in luck; Spout Springs is close to Maxwell Lake, and there are other places here than Maxwell Lake, for example Merritt Reservoir. | | splendid local attraction, and fine hiking is available along the Summit Mount Emily Trail.
High temperatures at Maxwell Lake all through the summertime months are in the 80's. Once the sun is down it dips down to the 50's. Daytime highs during the wintertime are in the 30's, and night lows in the 20's for Maxwell Lake. There's whitewater on Grande Ronde River for all you adrenaline people; hey, Pine Creek is a brilliant local stream. This lake is so wonderful. | |

you're here at Maxwell Lake you will meet lots of people from close by La Grande. You'll need more than a day to look at everything Maxwell Lake has to offer, you can camp at La Grande Rendezvous RV Resort. Maxwell Lake is located
in the Blue Mountains. Now, you may believe that's loads but there's even more enjoyable stuff to do here at Maxwell Lake.
This lake is so wonderful. The skiing at Anthony Lakes is perfect, and Maxwell Lake is a good spot to camp,
Grandview Campground is a good spot. At Maxwell Lake you can see Jones Butte; you can go for a hike on the Hale Spring Trail. It is very dehydrated here at Maxwell Lake regularly; January is the month that gets the most snow; the driest of the months is July.
