All year is a delightful time in the Siskiyou Mountains if you fancy the outdoors. There are some great whitewater spots on Rogue River, and why not spend some time golfing at a nearby golf course like Stewart Meadows Golf Course & Driving Range. A lovely lake like Hefferman Reservoir near Martin Reservoir is a magnificent place to check out, and Martin Reservoir is good enough       to spend more than a day at, Millpond Campground is a good local campground. Summer at Martin Reservoir arrives with high temperatures in the 80's. Summer night lows plunge down to the 40's. Daytime highs through the winter are in the 40's, and nighttime lows at Martin Reservoir during the winter frequently fall into the 20's. This lake is so wonderful. Do stop by Goodrich Reservoir in the vicinity of Martin Reservoir, it's a lovely lake, and a fine nearby                  hotel is Fairfield Inn And Suites By Marriott Medford. From a rainfall point of view Martin Reservoir is a quite typical location; through December this area sees the most rain, and July is the month with the least moisture. Martin Reservoir is located in the Siskiyou Mountains. The Mount Ashland Trail is a glorious hiking trail near Martin Reservoir, and the view of Bellinger Hill is scenic. This lake is so wonderful. Camping at Jackson County Parks and Rec is always a fine experience, and if you like skiing, you're in luck; Mt. Ashland is rather near. So many amusing things to do here in the Siskiyou Mountains, too fine to be true.
