Life's too short to enjoy all the exciting stuff in the Central Cascade Range. Best Western Ponderosa Lodge is a nice place to get some rest. There's so much to do here at Martin Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Suttle Lake Resort and Marina is a great location for that. The peak of Porcupine Peak can be spotted from Martin Lake. Summertime highs at Martin Lake ordinarily tend to be in the 80's with night lows in the 40's. For the duration of the

| | winter the highs are generally in the 30's, and throughout the dark hours in the wintertime at Martin Lake temperatures sink to the 20's. All the water falling down from the sky makes Martin Lake a wet place; December is when you get the most rain here; the driest of the months is July. Whitewater paddling is not for everyone but if it's for you then we recommend Marion Creek, and there's great hiking along the Round Lake Trail. Whohoo, so many fun things | |

in one place! Martin Lake is excellent! Hoodoo is a very popular ski area around here, and the Little Lake Trail offers hiking at its best. This lake is so wonderful. If you need a location to stay Lodge at Suttle Lake is a good
choice; Martin Lake is right by the South Loop Cut Off. This lake is so wonderful. There's whitewater on Squaw Creek for all you adrenaline kick people; don't leave Martin Lake without first paying a visit to Douthit Spring. All year
is a nice time in the Central Cascade Range if you love the outdoors. A spree to Canyon Creek Meadows revives the soul, and if you've had enough of Martin Lake, Booth Lake is close by. You could also visit Summit Lake if you're
here at Martin Lake; it's nearby, and Martin Lake is nice enough to spend more than a day at, Cold Springs Resort is a nice local campground. Martin Lake is one of the lakes here in the Central Cascade Range.
