The high level of rainfall makes Marsh Reservoir a reasonably wet place; throughout the month of December you get the most rain around here, and July on the other hand is the driest. This lake is so wonderful. Playing golf is lots of fun at Roseburg Country Club, and a nice place to explore nearby is Lookingglass Valley. You'll in fact wish for more hours in a day to enjoy all       the entertaining things in the Coast Ranges. You'll meet a lot of people from Roseburg here; Best Western Garden Villa Inn is a great place to get some rest. If you love the outdoors you'll love it here in the Coast Ranges. Get soaked paddling on Umpqua River. Paddling on Umpqua River - South is so much fun, and if you need a site to stay Americas Best Value Inn is a fine choice. During the warm days of summer, highs generally are in the 80's at Marsh Reservoir.                  Through the dark hours of summer temperatures drop down into the 50's. Through the winter this place gets highs in the 40's; nighttime lows at Marsh Reservoir all through the winter usually dip into the 30's. But wait, there's more to do right next door to Marsh Reservoir. Marsh Reservoir is nice enough to spend more than a day at, Umpqua Safari Camp Ground and RV is a nice local campground, and some of the water close by flows, like East Fork Byron Creek. Marsh Reservoir is one of the lakes here in the Coast Ranges.
