If you are in Jackson county it's always a good idea to stop by Marlin Reservoir. There are great sites to discover along the Canyon Number Three Trail; Marlin Reservoir is great enough to spend more than a day at, Millpond Campground is a great local campground. This lake is so wonderful. There is a splendid hiking trail right next door to Marlin Reservoir called the Chicago Trail; after a long day outdoors Fairfield Inn And Suites By Marriott Medford is a nice

| | site to spend a night or two. This lake is so wonderful. Dry warm beds await you at Holiday Inn Express Hotel & Suites MEDFORD-CENTRAL POINT, and of course Dean Creek is a scenic stream that is worth visiting. But wait, there's more to do near Marlin Reservoir. Rogue Valley is in the neighborhood of Marlin Reservoir and is certainly a good site to take a look at, and a lake close by is Kendall Slough. astonishing. Going for a hike on the Red Mountain Trail is always a perfect adventure, and at Marlin Reservoir you always meet someone from Medford. Marlin Reservoir is a beautiful lake in the Siskiyou Mountains. A fine site to
camp here at Marlin Reservoir is Jackson County Parks and Rec, and get yourself into a kayak and hit Rogue River. Marlin Reservoir gets a common amount of yearly rainfall; during December this area sees the most rain, and July meanwhile
is the driest month. Through the months of summer here at Marlin Reservoir, high temperatures regularly get into the 80's. Summer overnight lows drop down to the 40's. The wintertime comes with highs in the 40's; nighttime lows
in the 20's for Marlin Reservoir. And that's not all there is to do here in the Siskiyou Mountains. If you want to explore some interesting stuff, explore Lower Table Rock; Martin Reservoir is a nearby lake that you could check out.

Mt. Ashland
 | 23 miles away 3 PHOTOS If you can ski Mt. Ashland, you can ski anywhere, is a boast locals in southern Oregon have made for 45 years. It is true; Mt. Ashland offers plenty of adventure for both skiers and riders. The ski area is located about a half an hour drive from the charming town of Ashland, home to the world renowned Oregon Shakespeare Festival. At 7,500 feet, Mt. Ashland is the highest point in the Siskiyou mountain range. Its north facing slopes collect an average 300 inches of snowfall annually. The ski area offers 23 trails in addition to chute skiing and boarding in its famous bowl. All trails are easily accessed by 4 chairlifts. Twilight skiing on 10 runs is scheduled Thursday through Friday evenings beginning in late-December. The mountain prides itself on a warm and friendly atmosphere.
