Beautiful Marilyn Lakes has much to offer visitors. This lake is one of the great places here in the Central Cascade Range. This lake is so wonderful. Don't leave Marilyn Lakes without first going for a hike along the Gold Lake Trail, and swamps don’t sound that great but Gold Lake Bog right next door to Marilyn Lakes is rather great.
Life's too short to enjoy all the exciting stuff in the Central Cascade Range. A journey to Riggs Meadow revitalizes the spirit;

| | since you're here, do take a trip to West Bay. Summertime brings highs in the 80's to Marilyn Lakes. For the period of the dark hours of summer temperatures plunge down into the 40's. The winter brings highs down to the 40's, and after the sun is down throughout the winter temperatures at Marilyn Lakes plunge into the 20's. Not enough hours in a day to enjoy this spot. great hiking along the Mount Ray Trail.
So many amusing things in the Central Cascade Range, just unbelievable. Marilyn Lakes is a fine place to camp, Shelter Cove Resort is a fine place; after a long day outdoors Woodsman Country
Lodge is a tremendous spot to spend a night or two. A day on the slopes of Willamette Pass is just what you need, and swing by Bechel Creek it's a splendid location to check out. This lake is so wonderful. Not far from Marilyn Lakes,
you'll hit upon Gold Lake which is a stunning lake. You'll need more than a day to explore everything Marilyn Lakes has to offer, you can camp at Twin Springs Campground.
Good hiking is available along the Island Lake Trail, and
Burley Bluff is something you shouldn't miss since you're here. Marilyn Lakes is a quite wet place mostly with a good deal of rain; December is when you get the most rain here, and July is when it's the driest.
