There are other places here than Lake Marie, for example Clear Lake, and after a long day outdoors Comfort Inn Garibaldi is a great place to spend a night or two. This lake is so wonderful. If you need a spot to stay Econo Lodge Garibaldi is a great choice, and on a great day you can take a hike along the Cannon Beach Trail. Not far from Lake Marie, you'll discover Spring Lake which is a beautiful lake. There's so much to do here       at Lake Marie that you need to camp here for a while, The Old Mill RV Park and Event Center is a splendid place for that. On a wonderful day you can check out Nehalem Beach in the neighborhood of Lake Marie, and you can run the rapids of Nehalem River. This lake is located in the wonderful Coast Ranges. Lake Marie is a wet spot that gets a good deal of rainfall; the month with most of the rain is December; the driest month is August. So much exciting                  stuff to do here at Lake Marie, too great to be true. A tour to Sunset Beach near Lake Marie is always a good idea; if you're a golfer then a splendid close by course is Alderbrook Golf Course. Just can't get enough of the Coast Ranges. On a delightful day you acquire a vista of Green Hill from Lake Marie, and there's whitewater on Kilchis River - North Fork for all you adrenaline rush seekers. South Jetty is a spot that is close to Lake Marie, and Brimmer Creek is one of the streams nearby that might be worth a visit. And that's not everything there is to do here in the Coast Ranges. If you want to visit some interesting stuff, visit Twin Rocks Arch, and you can stay the night at Shorewood Travel Trailer Village. Summertime highs at Lake Marie generally tend to be in the 60's while overnight lows are regularly in the 50's.
