Indian Beach
Your description of Indian Beach is extremely inadequate and vague. Have you ever been there? Indian Beach is located in Ecola State Park, 2-3 miles within an old-growth forest headland. There is no overnight camping, golf courses, stores, etc... It is simply a beautiful beach to picnic, surf, or relax. It has some hiking trails, one which traverses Tillamook head, with spectacular views of the Pacific ocean. It also is popular and gets extremely busy during the summer, it's saving grace being that the beach is bigger than the parking lot. If you visit Cannon Beach, take the short, curvy drive to visit this northern oregon gem....
Jetty Fishery
15 miles away Jetty fishery gave a very pleasant place to stay with convenience of easy in and out boat launching, crab cooker and all the people there were pleasant compared to other places we have been, where we have had to pay extreme fee's, deposits etc. and the help were rude and the lines long. If you are looking for a place to just crab, fish or just be a beach bum, then this is the place to visit on the Oregon Coast!...

Nehalem River
19 miles away Nehalem is great for tubing, summer. Dont keep valuables in cars while on the river Kkayaked last two years in mid june and itwas fun, nice camping. The road becomes gravel part way. Watch for log trucks! Wear a helmet. Lots of flooding this winter with new washouts and logs....The river gets very low in the late summer months (July August and September), and is wild and high in the winter. The difficulty of this river is very much dependant on the time of year. My fav river. :) sorry, no pic to add....
