If you are in Clatsop county it's always a good idea to stop by Mantel Lake. All year is a wonderful time in the Coast Ranges if you love the outdoors. At Mantel Lake you can spot Rippet Mountain; there are plenty of people from Astoria here. Dry warm beds await you at Comfort Inn Seaside; Chapman Ponds is a nearby lake that you could pop by. This lake is so wonderful. Camping is available at Venice RV Park, and if you get bored of Mantel Lake you could also take

| | a look at nearby Riverside Lake.
This lake is so wonderful. Why not camp at Pine Cove Motel and Trailer Court while you're here at Mantel Lake, and while you're here here do take a look at close by Indian Beach. Go for a hike on the Cannon Beach Trail, and do stop by Beerman Creek if you're here at Mantel Lake. Throughout the summer highs here at Mantel Lake get into the 60's. down to the 40's, and nighttime lows at Mantel Lake all through the winter mostly sink into the 30's.
The high level of precipitation makes Mantel Lake a reasonably wet spot; the month of December is the wettest with most of the
rain, and July on the other hand is the driest. So much fun stuff to do here in the Coast Ranges, too delightful to be true. Do pay a visit to Fort Clatsop National Memorial since you're here at Mantel Lake, and a trip to Bear Valley
rejuvenates the soul. A good place for whitewater paddling in the vicinity of Mantel Lake is Nehalem River, and Seaside Golf Course is a great golf course nearby.
Mantel Lake is one of the lakes here in the Coast Ranges. Not enough
hours in a day to enjoy this spot. Now, you may assume that's lots but there's even more enjoyable stuff to do here at Mantel Lake. If you need a spot to stay Seaside Vacation Homes is a good choice; one of the best things about this place is its proximity to Sunset Beach.
