    Mansfield Pond is a lake worth visiting. Mansfield Pond is a pretty wet place regularly with a great deal of rain; through December this area sees the most rain while July is the month with the least amount of precipitation. And if you're still looking for more outdoors enjoyable stuff just keep reading. There's so much to do here at Mansfield Pond that you need to camp here for a while, Big Eddy County Park is a magnificent place for that, and Mansfield Pond  
   is glorious enough to spend more than a day at, Cedar Ridge is a glorious local campground. So many cool things to do here in the Coast Ranges, too glorious to be true.
This lake is one of the great places here in the Coast Ranges. If you get bored of Mansfield Pond, you could also stop by nearby Floeter Pond; whitewater paddling is great on Nehalem River. Man, is there lots of exciting stuff to do in the Coast Ranges. After a long day outdoors Best Western
 
               University Inn is a magnificent site to spend a night or two, and Gunners Lakes is a nearby lake that you could go to.
At Mansfield Pond during the warmest time of the year highs are in the 70's, and throughout summer nights temperatures are in the 50's. Highs all through the winter are generally in the 40's, and winter nights come with lows in the 30's to Mansfield Pond. This lake is so wonderful. The summit of Long Mountain can be spotted from Mansfield Pond, and get drenched paddling on Rock Creek. Dry warm beds await you at Econo Lodge Hillsboro, and don't forget to take a great little spree to Jim George Creek.
