All through the warm days of summer here at Maher Reservoir, high temperatures mostly reach the 80's. For the duration of the moonlight hours it's generally in the 40's. All through the winter highs are generally in the 30's, and winter nights come with lows in the 10's to Maher Reservoir. Be careful coming to Maher       Reservoir, you might not ever want to return back home again. Get yourself into a kayak and hit Owyhee River; of course Field Creek is a stunning stream that is worth stopping at. This lake is so wonderful. Deacon Reservoir is a great lake in close proximity to Maher Reservoir; why not take a refreshing hike along the Grasshopper Trail. Maher Dam is a beautiful place close to Maher Reservoir, and do set aside some time for Deacon Field while you're here                  at Maher Reservoir.
