Go to Maddux Reservoir if you want to go to a nice lake. That right there is heaps of fun stuff already but it goes on, the Coast Ranges has it all. Maddux Reservoir is not far at all from Corvallis. This lake is so wonderful. A nice close by hotel is Galaxie Motel; McTimmonds Valley is a good location to spend some time. Summer at Maddux Reservoir comes with high temperatures in the 70's. When the night sets in temperatures drop down into the 40's. Highs all

| | through the wintertime are usually in the 40's; nighttime lows through the winter for Maddux Reservoir tend to be in the 30's.
Be careful coming to the Coast Ranges, you might not ever want to go home again. If you need a place to stay Best Western Dallas Inn & Suites is a fine choice, and naturally Link Creek flows through this region. is July. Grant Hill is clearly visible from Maddux Reservoir, and paddling on Marys River is so much fun.

Home Park is a great place to camp, and if you've had enough of Maddux Reservoir, Morgan Reservoir is close by. Maddux Reservoir is a beautiful lake in the Coast Ranges. Float down the rapids of Mill Creek in a kayak, and camping at Maddux Reservoir is great fun, Benton Oaks RV and Campground is a great local campground.
