Oregon has many beautiful lakes and Lucky Lake is one of them. Lucky Lake is one of the lakes here in the Central Cascade Range. Going for a hike along the Corral Swamp Trail will let you absorb the natural beauty of this region, and a delightful lake like Little Lava Lake is a good place to go to. This lake is so wonderful. You'll need more than a day to explore everything Lucky Lake has to offer, you can camp at East Lake Resort and RV Parks, and magnificent
skiing awaits you at Mt. Bachelor.
Lucky Lake generally gets a lot of rainfall; most of the rain falls all through December; July is when it's the driest. There's so much to do here at Lucky Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Upper Campground is a delightful place for that; hiking along the Six Lakes Trail is great fun. And if that's not sufficient there's loads more entertaining things to do in the Central Cascade Range. Wire Meadow is a striking

site any time of year, and lakes are such peaceful places, why not pop by Lava Lake.
Now, you may feel that's loads but there's even more enjoyable stuff to do here in the Central Cascade Range. There's no such thing as a bad day of skiing at nearby Willamette Pass. Man, is there lots of entertaining things to do in close proximity to Lucky Lake. Get your heart beating on the great whitewater of Deschutes River; do take a hike on the Lucky Lake Trail. The warmest time of the year brings highs in the 80's to Lucky Lake. Once the sun is down it falls down to the 40's. Sparks Lake

Sparks lake is a picture perfect high montain lake located west of Bend, Oregon. It's near Mt Bachelor on the Cascade Lakes Hiway. Broken Top and South Sister loom high above as the Lava flow created a unique shoreline accessed best by Kayak or Canoe....

Moraine Lake Trail
A (shorter) way to get to in and out of Moraine lake is via the South Sister trailhead....

Little Cultus Lake
One of the best of the best small lakes i have fished, out of bend ore. Great family lake....

Winopee Lake
Went to Winopee lake this weekend...it was a little dissapointing because the lake is about 45% covered with reeds and lilly pads. The Eastern shore is the only one you can accesst the water without having to wade through reeds. There is quite a few algae blooms so swimming isn't an option. Overall, the view was nice but not spectacular. There are three decent campsites at the lake, popular with horse camps. The best of the three sites is the one on the Eastern bank, take the first trail you come accross before reaching the junction for sno-shoe lake. The second and third campsites are on the West bank and are a little harder to find...head for the clifs and you are there....

Mt. Bachelor
...th American Pond Skimming Championships (May 17).
Among the 6 full-service day lodges, you?ll find food, bars, daycare and the largest ski shop in Oregon. Mt Bachelor offers terrific ski school day and multi-week programs for the whole family including privates, minimum 5 student class sizes and free first-time lessons with the purchase of a full-price day ticket.
Got lunch? Hot breakfast, fresh salads, pizzas, sandwiches, pastas and grilled items are prepared fresh daily. Also enjoy local favorites including bend-crafted brews and spirits. Whether you seek and cafeteria-style lunch for the whole family, table service or an adult-only cocktail lounge you will find it at Mt Bachelor.
What you will not find at Mt Bachelor are slopeside condos or a fabricated base village. The towns of Bend and Sunriver ? both 20 minutes away ?serve as the unofficial base villages with their own authentic Oregonian vibe. Bend, with its historic downtown, excellent array of restaurants and revitalized Old Mill shopping district, and Sunriver, with its quiet and natural setting, provides two uniq...

Davis Lake
14 miles away
This website needs updating. I was there on Aug. 2nd,3rd, and 4th 2007. There are a LOT of bass there. We saw NO trout at all, and no one we talked to had caught or seen one. I was there with 2 others for bass fishing. there is no camping at the west boat launch area. Day use only. There are 2 camp sites on the east side. The Lava Flow site is closed, and has been for some time. There is a primative site there. No water or elec. and very primative boat launching area. You have to pole or row through the tules to get out on the lake. The old campground is closed because of Eagles nest there. Eagles are no longer on the endangerd spieces list. Why not re-open that area. it has a great boat ramp. Bass fishing was great, but not many large fish when we were there. Lots of smaller bass. We were told it was real good in late June and first half of July. We will try again next year....
