Beautiful Lowry Reservoir has much to offer visitors. This lake is located in the wonderful Siskiyou Mountains. So much amusing stuff to do here in the Siskiyou Mountains, too wonderful to be true. Paddling on Rogue River is so much fun; if you're here you can play some golf at Rogue Valley Manor Quail Point Golf Course. All year is a magnificent time in the Siskiyou Mountains if you have a thing about the outdoors. Going for a hike on the Mount Ashland Trail

| | is always a splendid adventure, and Cliff Gulch is another good site to explore nearby. You could also stop at Hilldale Reservoir while you're here at Lowry Reservoir; it's nearby, and Lowry Reservoir is wonderful enough to spend more than a day at, Pear Tree RV Park is a wonderful local campground. Anderson Creek is a magnificent local stream, and Best Western Horizon Inn is a great place to get some rest. Don't try to stop me, cause I'm havin' a great time | |

Reservoir is in the vicinity, and hey, Gotta ski right? Mt. Ashland is a nice place to do that. Lowry Reservoir is a location that is relatively dried out generally; December is when you get the most rain here while July is frequently
the driest month. Throughout the months of summer, highs frequently are in the 80's at Lowry Reservoir, and through summer nights temperatures are in the 40's. Throughout the winter highs are in the 40's, and night lows in the 20's
for Lowry Reservoir. This lake is so wonderful. Lowry Reservoir is not far at all from Medford, and if you need a place to stay Homewood Suites by Hilton Medford is a brilliant choice.

Mt. Ashland
 | 11 miles away 3 PHOTOS If you can ski Mt. Ashland, you can ski anywhere, is a boast locals in southern Oregon have made for 45 years. It is true; Mt. Ashland offers plenty of adventure for both skiers and riders. The ski area is located about a half an hour drive from the charming town of Ashland, home to the world renowned Oregon Shakespeare Festival. At 7,500 feet, Mt. Ashland is the highest point in the Siskiyou mountain range. Its north facing slopes collect an average 300 inches of snowfall annually. The ski area offers 23 trails in addition to chute skiing and boarding in its famous bowl. All trails are easily accessed by 4 chairlifts. Twilight skiing on 10 runs is scheduled Thursday through Friday evenings beginning in late-December. The mountain prides itself on a warm and friendly atmosphere.
