Lowry Reservoir is a great lake in an area with lots of outdoors fun all around. Just can't get enough of the Siskiyou Mountains. A round of golf at nearby Rogue Valley Manor Quail Point Golf Course is a perfect way to kill some time, and soar down the rapids of Big Butte Creek in a kayak. Man, is there heaps of fun things to do in close proximity to Lowry Reservoir. Going for a hike along the Mount Ashland Trail will let you absorb the natural beauty of this area,

| | and a great spot to pop by nearby is Cliff Gulch. Throughout the summer months, highs commonly are in the 80's at Lowry Reservoir. For the duration of the dark hours of summer temperatures dip down into the 40's. For the period of the winter the highs are regularly in the 40's with winter lows in the 20's overnight here at Lowry Reservoir.

is a great spot to spend a night or two. This lake is so wonderful. There's so much to do here at Lowry Reservoir that you need to camp here for a while, Pear Tree RV Park is a wonderful spot for that, and why not stop by nearby Anderson
Creek since you're here at Lowry Reservoir. You're sure to bump into some cheerful people from Medford here, and since you might be in a lake visiting mood you can always stop by nearby Hilldale Reservoir.
Around Lowry Reservoir
you don’t get a lot of rainfall; December is when you get the most rain here; July is the month with the least moisture. Very pretty scenery and pleasant skiing is what you get at Mt. Ashland, and a good nearby hotel is Homewood Suites
by Hilton Medford.
Lowry Reservoir is located in the Siskiyou Mountains. And that's not all there is to do here in the Siskiyou Mountains. If you came to camp Holiday RV Park is a pleasant spot to do that, and not far from Lowry Reservoir you'll hit upon Holmes Reservoir which is a scenic lake.
