This lake is located in the wonderful Siskiyou Mountains. So much amusing stuff to do here in the Siskiyou Mountains, too wonderful to be true. Paddling on Rogue River is so much fun; if you're here you can play some golf at Rogue Valley Manor Quail Point Golf Course. All year is a magnificent time in the Siskiyou Mountains if you have a thing about the outdoors. Going for a hike on the Mount Ashland Trail       is always a splendid adventure, and Cliff Gulch is another good site to explore nearby. You could also stop at Hilldale Reservoir while you're here at Lowry Reservoir; it's nearby, and Lowry Reservoir is wonderful enough to spend more than a day at, Pear Tree RV Park is a wonderful local campground. Anderson Creek is a magnificent local stream, and Best Western Horizon Inn is a great place to get some rest. Don't try to stop me, cause I'm havin' a great time                  here at Lowry Reservoir. Float down the rapids of Big Butte Creek in a kayak, and camping at Holiday RV Park is always a magnificent experience. This lake is so wonderful. Looking for something near Lowry Reservoir? Larson Creek Reservoir is in the vicinity, and hey, Gotta ski right? Mt. Ashland is a nice place to do that. Lowry Reservoir is a location that is relatively dried out generally; December is when you get the most rain here while July is frequently the driest month. Throughout the months of summer, highs frequently are in the 80's at Lowry Reservoir, and through summer nights temperatures are in the 40's. Throughout the winter highs are in the 40's, and night lows in the 20's for Lowry Reservoir. This lake is so wonderful.
