This lake is so wonderful. Whitewater paddling is not for everybody but if it's for you then we recommend Rogue River, and dry warm beds await you at Pear Tree Motel. Throughout the months of summer at Lowry Reservoir temperatures are generally in the 80's. Summer overnight lows drop down to the 40's. Throughout the wintertime this place gets highs in the 40's, and overnight lows at Lowry Reservoir through the winter usually sink into the 20's. This lake is

Camping is available at Holiday RV Park, and get your pulse rate up on the fine whitewater of Big Butte Creek. But wait, there's more cool stuff to do in the Siskiyou Mountains. Golf Course. This lake is so wonderful. If you're here, you might as well check out Cliff Gulch, and while you're here, you could also stop by beautiful Larson Creek Reservoir. Not much precipitation falls here at Lowry Reservoir;
of all the months in a year December is the one with the most rain, and the driest month is July. Not enough hours in a day to enjoy the Siskiyou Mountains. Getting to Anderson Creek from Lowry Reservoir is painless; a tremendous
place to camp here at Lowry Reservoir is Pear Tree RV Park. Why not take a refreshing hike along the Mount Ashland Trail, and at Lowry Reservoir you always meet someone from Medford. Mt. Ashland is a splendid local ski area, and do take a look at Hilldale Reservoir, it's a pretty lake.

Mt. Ashland
 | 11 miles away 3 PHOTOS If you can ski Mt. Ashland, you can ski anywhere, is a boast locals in southern Oregon have made for 45 years. It is true; Mt. Ashland offers plenty of adventure for both skiers and riders. The ski area is located about a half an hour drive from the charming town of Ashland, home to the world renowned Oregon Shakespeare Festival. At 7,500 feet, Mt. Ashland is the highest point in the Siskiyou mountain range. Its north facing slopes collect an average 300 inches of snowfall annually. The ski area offers 23 trails in addition to chute skiing and boarding in its famous bowl. All trails are easily accessed by 4 chairlifts. Twilight skiing on 10 runs is scheduled Thursday through Friday evenings beginning in late-December. The mountain prides itself on a warm and friendly atmosphere.
