Whitewater paddling is not for everybody but if it's for you then we recommend Rogue River, and dry warm beds await you at Pear Tree Motel. Throughout the months of summer at Lowry Reservoir temperatures are generally in the 80's. Summer overnight lows drop down to the 40's. Throughout the wintertime this place gets highs in the 40's, and overnight lows at Lowry Reservoir through the winter usually sink into the 20's. This lake is       one of the great places here in the Siskiyou Mountains. If only every spot had this much outdoors exciting things, what a great planet it would be. Camping is available at Holiday RV Park, and get your pulse rate up on the fine whitewater of Big Butte Creek. But wait, there's more cool stuff to do in the Siskiyou Mountains. Super 8 Motel Phoenix is a great spot to get some rest, and while you're here you can play some golf at Rogue Valley Manor Quail Point                  Golf Course. This lake is so wonderful. If you're here, you might as well check out Cliff Gulch, and while you're here, you could also stop by beautiful Larson Creek Reservoir. Not much precipitation falls here at Lowry Reservoir; of all the months in a year December is the one with the most rain, and the driest month is July. Not enough hours in a day to enjoy the Siskiyou Mountains. Getting to Anderson Creek from Lowry Reservoir is painless; a tremendous place to camp here at Lowry Reservoir is Pear Tree RV Park. Why not take a refreshing hike along the Mount Ashland Trail, and at Lowry Reservoir you always meet someone from Medford. Mt.
