Oregon has many beautiful lakes and Lower Reservoir is one of them. At Lower Reservoir you can catch a glimpse of Ropers Bunion, and paddling on Klamath River is so much fun. There's just no way someone can get bored here at Lower Reservoir. Some of the water nearby flows, like Ashland Creek, and if you need a place to stay Ashland Springs Hotel is a nice choice. There is a nice hiking trail close to Lower Reservoir called the Copper Trail, and do visit Reeder Reservoir, it's a beautiful lake. So much fun stuff to do in the Siskiyou Mountains, not enough time. Any time is a splendid time at Lower Reservoir if you have a thing about the outdoors. This place, the Siskiyou Mountains, has so much outdoors enjoyable stuff. A picturesque lake like Crowson Reservoir in the vicinity of Lower Reservoir is a glorious location to
take a look at, and if you came for an overnight stay Jackson wellsprings is a great place to camp. This lake is so wonderful. A short visit to Danns Spring is always worthwhile, and you'll meet a lot of folks from Medford here. Summer
brings highs in the 90's to Lower Reservoir with nighttime lows in the 50's. All through the winter highs are in the 40's; after the sun is down through the wintertime temperatures at Lower Reservoir plunge into the 30's.
This
lake is so wonderful. Near Lower Reservoir you find the Bear Creek Trail which is a great hiking trail, and there's no such thing as a bad day of skiing at nearby Mt. Ashland. A fine site near Lower Reservoir is Jemmison Gulch, and
on a splendid day you can take a hike along the Mount Ashland Trail. Lower Reservoir is located in the Siskiyou Mountains.
If you go for the outdoors you'll go for it here in the Siskiyou Mountains. You can take a little visit to Reeder Gulch Dam while you're here at Lower Reservoir; enjoy a round of golf at Oak Knoll Golf Club.
