    If you are in Jackson county it's always a good idea to stop by Lower Reservoir. The Siskiyou Mountains scenery is always beautiful. The warmest time of the year at Lower Reservoir comes with high temperatures in the 90's. For the duration of the dark hours of summer temperatures dip down into the 50's. High temperatures during the wintertime are normally in the 40's with temperatures at Lower Reservoir dipping down into the 30's through winter nights. Why  
   not take a refreshing hike along the Bear Creek Trail, and Lower Reservoir is not the only place nearby, Crowson Reservoir is a nearby lake.
This lake is so wonderful. A splendid nearby hotel is Best Western Bard's Inn; Jemmison Gulch is nearby, and is a good location. That right there is plenty of entertaining things already but it goes on, the Siskiyou Mountains has it all. Yeah, come up here to the Siskiyou Mountains for a good time. There's some exciting
 
               stuff to make out at Reeder Gulch Dam close to Lower Reservoir, and from Lower Reservoir you acquire a nice sight of Ropers Bunion.
Be careful coming to the Siskiyou Mountains, you might not ever want to return home again. The Copper Trail offers hiking at its best, and Lower Reservoir is great enough to spend more than a day at, Jackson wellsprings is a great local campground. But wait, there's more to do in the vicinity of Lower Reservoir. Hiking is a popular thing to do around Lower Reservoir; Mount Ashland Trail is a brilliant local trail; if you need a location to stay Ashland Springs Hotel is a tremendous choice. A lake close by is Granite Street Reservoir, and you're sure to bump into some friendly folks from Medford here.
Paddling on Klamath River is so much fun; Danns Spring is an inspiring place to explore while here. This lake is so wonderful. A golf course near Lower Reservoir is Oak Knoll Golf Club; skiing at Mt. Ashland is one of those things you just should do. Lower Reservoir is pretty dehydrated frequently; December is the wettest month with most rain while July is the month with the least amount of precipitation.
This place, Lower Reservoir, it completely has so much outdoors entertaining stuff. Ashland Creek is near Lower Reservoir and is always a bliss to stop at; if you came to camp Regency Inn and RV is a delightful spot to do that.

If you can ski Mt. Ashland, you can ski anywhere, is a boast locals in southern Oregon have made for 45 years. It is true; Mt. Ashland offers plenty of adventure for both skiers and riders. The ski area is located about a half an hour drive from the charming town of Ashland, home to the world renowned Oregon Shakespeare Festival. At 7,500 feet, Mt. Ashland is the highest point in the Siskiyou mountain range. Its north facing slopes collect an average 300 inches of snowfall annually. The ski area offers 23 trails in addition to chute skiing and boarding in its famous bowl. All trails are easily accessed by 4 chairlifts. Twilight skiing on 10 runs is scheduled Thursday through Friday evenings beginning in late-December. The mountain prides itself on a warm and friendly atmosphere.
