This lake is one of the great places here in the Central Cascade Range. That right there is a lot of enjoyable stuff already but it goes on, the Central Cascade Range has it all. Hiking along the Cub Creek Trail is splendid fun; a swamp like Cornpatch Meadow close to Lower Lake has lots of out of the ordinary things to see. This lake is so wonderful. Lower Lake is a delightful place to visit for more than one day, Lemiti Campground is a delightful place

| | to camp nearby, and going for a hike along the Fish Lake Trail will let you absorb the natural beauty of this region. Do check out Gifford Lakes near Lower Lake, it's a beautiful lake, and in the event that you don’t have a problem getting wet, you can always go whitewater paddling on Marion Creek. So much enjoyable stuff to do here at Lower Lake, too wonderful to be true. Stay the night at Trout Lake Campground, and Collawash River has a pleasant whitewater | |

paddling spot nearby. For the period of the long summer days here at Lower Lake, high temperatures ordinarily get into the 70's while nighttime lows are commonly in the 50's. For the duration of the winter highs are usually in
the 40's while Lower Lake night low temperatures all through the wintertime are in the 30's. Be careful coming to the Central Cascade Range, you might not ever wanna go back home again. The vista of charming Double Peaks near Lower
Lake is wonderful, and the slopes of Hoodoo are so inviting noone can resist. This lake is so wonderful. While you're here at Lower Lake, you could also pop by pretty Finley Lake; if the weather is good, you can go for a hike along
the Pacific Crest Trail - section 22. Lower Lake is a wet place that gets much rainfall; the month with most of the rain is December, and July is the month with the least moisture.

 | Roundtrip Distance 13.7 miles Elevation Gain 2,348 ft. This peak is trailless, meaning a portion or all of the route up the mountain is via an unmarked trail. For this particular mountain, the typical route is known as a ''herd path'' which is not much more than a worn, but unmarked trail. Some of the herd paths are easy to follow, others are not. In many instances the hiker will travel down a false herd path and eventually have to correct his/her course via backtracking.
