And if that's not enough there's heaps more exciting things to do in the Coast Ranges. If you came for an overnight stay Arbe's RV Park is a splendid location to camp; nothing beats kicking back at North Beach. This lake is so wonderful. Lots of people from Coos Bay come to Lower Empire Lake, and Bastendorff       Beach is a beach nearby that you can stop by. This lake is so wonderful. For you golfers we recommend nearby Kentuck Golf Course, and camping is available at Kelley's RV Park. For the duration of the days of summer here at Lower Empire Lake, high temperatures frequently reach the 60's. Once the sun is down it drops down to the 50's. The cold days of the winter come with highs in the 50's; winter nights come with lows in the 30's to Lower Empire Lake. Red                  Lion Hotel Coos Bay is a nice place to get some rest, and paddling on Millicoma River - West Fork is so much fun. Just can't get enough of the Coast Ranges. This lake is one of the great places here in the Coast Ranges. A great deal of precipitation falls at Lower Empire Lake; the month with most of the rain is December; July is when it's the driest.
