It's always fun to stop by Lostine Reservoir. So much exciting stuff to do in the Wallowa Mountains, not enough time. If you're visiting Lostine Reservoir from La Grande, you won't be the only one, and let's not forget Bitter Creek which is a stream that you may bump into during your stay. Lostine Reservoir is a beautiful lake in the Wallowa Mountains.
This lake is so wonderful. Lostine Dam is an out of the ordinary thing to check out, and there's fine hiking

| | along the Bear Creek Trail. For the duration of the summertime months highs here at Lostine Reservoir get into the 80's, and the overnight is slightly colder of course, typically in the 30's. For the period of the wintertime the highs are frequently in the 30's, and winter nights come with lows in the 10's to Lostine Reservoir. Just can't get enough of Lostine Reservoir. This site, the Wallowa Mountains, has so much outdoors exciting things. If you need a place to stay Best Western Rama Inn & Suites is a nice choice, and the Bowman
Trail offers hiking at its best. Not much rain falls here at Lostine Reservoir; through the month of December you get the most snow around here while July is frequently the driest month. If you came for an overnight stay Goebel's is a brilliant spot to camp; Mingo Motel is a great location to get some rest.
