Lost Lake is a reasonably wet place typically with lots of rain; December is when you get the most rain here while July is mostly the driest month. This lake is located in the wonderful Central Cascade Range. This lake is so wonderful. While you're here at Lost Lake, you could also check out beautiful Train Lake, and Santiam River - North is a nice whitewater spot close by. | | a splendid location to get some rest, and on a delightful day you acquire a glorious vista of Maxwell Butte from Lost Lake. This lake is so wonderful. While you're here at Lost Lake you can take a hike along the Pocket Way, and after a long day outdoors Best Western Ponderosa Lodge is a magnificent place to spend a night or two. High temperatures at Lost Lake during the warm days of summer are in the 80's with night lows in the 40's. Highs all through the winter | |

are generally in the 30's while Lost Lake nighttime low temperatures throughout the winter are in the 20's. Not enough hours in a day to enjoy the Central Cascade Range. Hoodoo Creek is one of the streams nearby that might be
worth checking out, and you can run the rapids of Marion Creek. Do check out Maxwell Lake near Lost Lake, it's a picturesque lake. There's so much to do here at Lost Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Country Star Recreational
Vehicle Park is a wonderful place for that. But wait, there's more entertaining things to do in the Central Cascade Range. Going for a hike along the Lava Trail will let you absorb the natural beauty of this area; you'll never
forgive yourself if you don’t go skiing at Hoodoo since you're here. You'll need more than a day to discover everything Lost Lake has to offer, you can camp at Tombstone Prairie Campground; you can have a good hiking adventure along the Maxwell Trail.
