An average amount of rain falls at Lost Lake; the month of November is the wettest with most of the rain, and July meanwhile is the driest month. Summer brings highs in the 80's to Lost Lake. All through the dark hours of summer temperatures plunge down into the 40's. The cold days of the wintertime come with highs in the 40's, and after the sun is down       during the winter temperatures at Lost Lake descend into the 20's. And if that's not sufficient there's a load more enjoyable things to do in the Southern Cascade Range. If you came for an overnight stay Saddle Campground is a great site to camp, and visit close by Big Meadows. This lake is so wonderful. Lakes are tremendous; Bert Lake is a lake that's near Lost Lake; Crater Lake National Park is a good local destination. Don't leave Lost Lake without first                  going for a hike along the Cold Spring Trail, and why not camp at Hemlock Lake Campground while you're here at Lost Lake. Lost Lake is located in the Southern Cascade Range. Going for a hike on the Lost Peak Trail is always a tremendous adventure; a good panorama of striking Lost Peak is available. This place is so good, just look at all the amusing stuff to do right next door to Lost Lake.
