    Why not stop by Lost Lake if you're passing through these parts. During the summer here at Lost Lake, high temperatures regularly reach the 80's. During the moonlight hours it's mostly in the 30's. During the winter this place gets highs in the 30's with temperatures at Lost Lake dipping down into the 10's throughout winter nights. This lake is so wonderful. While you're here at Lost Lake you can take a hike along the Lost Camp Trail, and if you came to camp  
   Deerhorn Campground is a tremendous site to do that. If you're here at Lost Lake, you could have a look at Line Creek, and camping at Trough Creek Campground is always a magnificent experience.
Yeah, come up here to the Blue Mountains for a brilliant time. You're perhaps interested in lakes, Olive Lake is one of those close by; do set aside some time for Desolation Meadows while you're here at Lost Lake. If the weather is great here at Lost Lake, you can go for
 
               a hike along the Farley Spring Trail, and after a long day outdoors Best Western John Day Inn is a splendid site to spend a night or two. All the outdoors fun things in the Blue Mountains will keep you coming back repeatedly. It's always great to take a look at Farley Spring, and drift down the rapids of John Day River - North Fork in a kayak.
This lake is located in the wonderful Blue Mountains. This lake is so wonderful. And that's not all you can do here at Lost Lake. Nearby lakes? Sure, Upper Reservoir is near Lost Lake, and the Spruce Log Trail is a brilliant hiking trail close by.
Lost Lake is typically a reasonably dried up site; the wettest month of the year is commonly November, that's the one that rains the most; the driest month is July.
