    Many people like to go to Lost Lake. So many cool things to do in the Blue Mountains, not sufficient time. Lost Lake is wonderful enough to spend more than a day at, Trough Creek Campground is a wonderful local campground, and after a long day outdoors Best Western John Day Inn is a pleasant location to spend a night or two. Paddling on John Day River - North Fork is so much fun, and Farley Spring is an inspiring place to explore while you're here. Lost Lake  
   is a location that is rather dried up typically; all through the month of November you get the most rain around here, and July is the month with the least moisture.
It's a good idea to pop by Line Creek, it's in close proximity to Lost Lake, and the Lost Camp Trail offers hiking at its best. This lake is so wonderful. Desolation Meadows is a good spot here at Lost Lake, and hiking along the Spruce Log Trail is good fun. There's no way someone can get bored
 
               here in the Blue Mountains.
For the period of the long summer days, highs ordinarily are in the 80's at Lost Lake, and during summer nights temperatures are in the 30's. High temperatures all through the wintertime are normally in the 30's; after the sun is down throughout the wintertime temperatures at Lost Lake descend into the 10's. If you want a perfect time in the great outdoors, just come on down to Lost Lake. There's so much to do here at Lost Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Deerhorn Campground is a glorious place for that, and Lost Lake is right by the Farley Spring Trail. Lost Lake is located in the Blue Mountains.
