The beauty of Lost Lake is reason enough to stop by. Lost Lake is a wet spot that gets lots of rainfall; most of the rain falls during December; July meanwhile is the driest month. There's whitewater on Nehalem River for all you adrenaline rush seekers; if you came for an overnight stay Marv's RV Park is a great place to camp. And that's not all there is to do here in the Coast Ranges. Since you might be in a lake visiting mood you can always explore close by Fishhawk
Lake, and Perkins Creek Campground is a brilliant local campground.
This lake is so wonderful. Skyline Golf Course is a pleasant golf course close by, and some of the water nearby flows, like Driscoll Slough. The warmest time of the year brings highs in the 70's to Lost Lake, and the nighttime is rather cooler of course, typically in the 40's. Throughout the winter the highs are typically in the 40's, and after the sun is down during the wintertime temperatures

at Lost Lake drop into the 30's. You imagine that's enough? Just getting warmed up. If you need a place to stay Comfort Suites Columbia River is a magnificent choice; whitewater paddling is not for everyone but if it's for you then, we recommend Elochoman River.
Just can't get enough of the Coast Ranges. One of the best things about Lost Lake is its proximity to Jones Beach. The Coast Ranges scenery is always beautiful. A day at Westport Beach near Lost Lake is time well spent. Lakes are delightful; Cougar Creek Reservoir is a lake that's near Lost Lake.
