Lost Lake is a wet spot that gets lots of rainfall; most of the rain falls during December; July meanwhile is the driest month. There's whitewater on Nehalem River for all you adrenaline rush seekers; if you came for an overnight stay Marv's RV Park is a great place to camp. And that's not all there is to do here in the Coast Ranges. Since you might be in a lake visiting mood you can always explore close by Fishhawk       Lake, and Perkins Creek Campground is a brilliant local campground. This lake is so wonderful. Skyline Golf Course is a pleasant golf course close by, and some of the water nearby flows, like Driscoll Slough. The warmest time of the year brings highs in the 70's to Lost Lake, and the nighttime is rather cooler of course, typically in the 40's. Throughout the winter the highs are typically in the 40's, and after the sun is down during the wintertime temperatures                  at Lost Lake drop into the 30's. You imagine that's enough? Just getting warmed up.
