     You just can't picture the amount of outdoors enjoyable things the Blue Mountains has to offer. Smith Meadows is right here at Lost Creek Reservoir; if you need a place to stay Best Western John Day Inn is a great choice. This lake is so wonderful. The Timbers Inn and RV Park is a brilliant campground nearby. Lost Creek Reservoir is a location that is relatively dried up regularly; the wettest month of the year is usually November, that's the one that rains  
   the most; the driest month is July.
Don't leave Lost Creek Reservoir without first going for a hike along the Buck Cabin Trail, and Rail Gulch is a great place to spend some time. Through the warm months at Lost Creek Reservoir temperatures are mostly in the 80's. Summer night lows plunge down to the 40's. For the duration of the winter highs are in the 30's, and night lows throughout the winter for Lost Creek Reservoir tend to be in the 20's. This lake
 
               is located in the wonderful Blue Mountains.
You believe that's enough? Just getting warmed up. There are good sites to look at along the High Trail, and lakes are such calm locations, why not visit Klink Reservoir. This lake is so wonderful. Good hiking is available along the Fawn Spring Trail; there are other spots here than Lost Creek Reservoir, for example Sproul Reservoir. Take a little journey to Dipping Vat Creek if you're here at Lost Creek Reservoir, and you can stay the night at Mt Vernon Motel and Trailer Park.
Having a good time in the Blue Mountains is trouble-free. A short journey to Ninety Six Spring is always worthwhile; after a long day outdoors Americas Best Value Inn is a fine place to spend a night or two.
