A visit to Lost Creek Lake is always a good idea. This lake is one of the great places here in the Southern Cascade Range. This lake is so wonderful. A lake close by is Elk Creek Reservoir, and dry warm beds await you at Courtyard by Marriott Medford Airport. These mountains rock, just check out all the entertaining things to do in the Southern Cascade Range. Camping at Bear Mountain RV Park is always a good experience, and Lost Creek Lake is not far at all

You could also check out Elk Creek Lake if you're here at Lost Creek Lake; it's nearby, and hiking along the Rogue-Umpqua Divide Trail is perfect fun. Summer brings highs in the 90's to Lost Creek Lake, and the overnight is a tad colder of course, usually in the 50's. RV Park and Campground, and Lost Creek Dam is a stunning site, beyond doubt worth visiting. Get yourself into a kayak and hit Rogue River - North Fork, and Big Butte Creek is close to Lost Creek Lake and is always a diversion
to stop by. This lake is so wonderful. After a long day outdoors La Quinta Inn Suites White City is a splendid site to spend a night or two, and do take a hike on the Alco Trail.

Ashland offers plenty of adventure for both skiers and riders. The ski area is located about a half an hour drive from the charming town of Ashland, home to the world renowned Oregon Shakespeare Festival. At 7,500 feet, Mt. Ashland is the highest point in the Siskiyou mountain range. Its north facing slopes collect an average 300 inches of snowfall annually. The ski area offers 23 trails in addition to chute skiing and boarding in its famous bowl. All trails are easily accessed by 4 chairlifts. Twilight skiing on 10 runs is scheduled Thursday through Friday evenings beginning in late-December. The mountain prides itself on a warm and friendly atmosphere.
