 | Carter Lake is a really great place for friendly family fun. The lake is great for canoeing and fishing, warm enough to swim and frolick. The camp sites are varied with some along the lake and others along the dune. Speaking of the dune, the walk up and over the dune to the beach is great. | I was born here and in my 50 years, this is the very first time I've heard of Little North Woahink lake. At first I thought perhaps the author was talking about Little Woahink which is a tiny dammed private lake/reservoir off a northern arm of Woahink off Canary RD or maybe this was a tiny lake in the vacinity I'd never heard of, so I hunted around a little bit. Nope. There is no North Little Woahink. The author was simply referring to Woahink, which btw, is a nice destination for summer water skiing or picnicing, especially because of it's very close approximity to Honeyman State Park and it's campground. Honeyman has very comfortable ammenities. Check out the yerts!... |
