It's always fun to stop by Loon Lake. For the period of the months of summer highs here at Loon Lake get into the 70's, and the night is fairly colder of course, typically in the 50's. Daytime highs through the winter are in the 50's with temperatures at Loon Lake dipping down into the 30's through winter nights. If only every site had this much outdoors amusing stuff, what a great earth it would be. If you came to camp East Carter Campground is a fine location

| | to do that. So much enjoyable stuff in the Coast Ranges, just unbelievable. Since you might be in a lake visiting mood you can always stop by nearby Carter Lake, and if you need a place to stay Woahink Lake Suites is a tremendous choice.
Loon Lake sees pretty high levels of precipitation; through December this area sees the most rain while July is the month with the least amount of precipitation. You don’t have to go far from Loon Lake to see the water | |

at Siltcoos Lake Dam, and swing by Carter Lake Creek it's a great place to check out. A brilliant close by hotel is Park Motel, and Loon Lake is great enough to spend more than a day at, Crown Zellerback Campground is a great local
campground.
This lake is so wonderful. Going for a hike on the Threemile Lake Trail is always a great adventure, and a round of golf at nearby Avalon Pitch & Putt Golf Course is a fine way to kill some time. Loon Lake is one of the lakes here in the Coast Ranges.
