The warmest time of the year brings highs in the 80's to Lookout Point Lake. All through the dark hours of summer temperatures descend down into the 50's. The high level of precipitation makes Lookout Point Lake a rather wet spot; most of the rain falls throughout December, and July on the other hand is the driest.                  Going for a hike on the Eagles Rest Trail is always a good adventure, and not far from Lookout Point Lake you'll find Dexter Reservoir which is a scenic lake. This lake is so wonderful. Good hiking is available along the Hardesty Trail, and Winberry Creek is a nice whitewater spot close by. And if that's not sufficient, there's lots more to do next to Lookout Point Lake. You can run the rapids of Fall Creek next to Lookout Point Lake. Lakes are great; Fall Creek Lake is a lake that's near Lookout Point Lake. The scenery at Lookout Point Dam near Lookout Point Lake is picturesque. You'll need more than a day to discover everything Lookout Point Lake has to offer, you can camp at Dexter Shores Mobile Home and RV Park. Go for a hike on the Teeter Creek Loop. If you want a brilliant time in the great outdoors just come on up to the Central Cascade Range. Don't forget to take a glorious little trip to East Fork Minnow Creek; if you need a location to stay Comfort Inn & Suites Creswell is a fine choice.
