Long Lake is a great lake in an area with lots of outdoors fun all around. Long Lake is located in the Wallowa Mountains. The summit of Minam Peak can be spotted from Long Lake, and nice hiking is available along the Bowman Trail. There's so much to do here at Long Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Nez Perce Trailer and RV Park is a glorious site for that, and the North Minam Trail offers hiking at its best.

Life's too short to enjoy all the exciting things in the Wallowa Mountains. At Long Lake you don’t see much rain; the wettest month of the year is generally May, that's the one that rains
the most, and July is the month with the least moisture. Summer at Long Lake comes with high temperatures in the 80's. Summer overnight lows fall down to the 40's. The winter comes with highs in the 30's, and night lows at Long Lake all through the wintertime frequently fall into the 20's.
